New Family Welcome Event

Join the Bellevue PTSA Council, BSD Welcome Center and the Bellevue Schools Foundation for a Bellevue School District welcoming afternoon designed especially for kindergarten families and open to all families new to BSD. Meet BSD staff, learn about school and family services, connect with your PTSA, enjoy student showcases, and explore community programs, sports, Scouts, and nonprofit resources. Food will be available for purchase from food trucks, and complimentary light snacks will be provided.

Jing Mei Readathon: Read around the world

PTSA Monday, September 28, 2026, 9:00 am Anywhere

Jing Mei Readathon is coming soon! This year the theme is “Read Around the World,” and the event will run September 28 - October 11. Let’s celebrate the joy of reading and support our school together! During this two-week reading and fundraising adventure, students can read in any language, track the number of pages they read, and invite family and friends to support them through donations. Every page takes us farther around the world while helping raise funds for field trips, school events, and other PTSA programs. Students who reach reading milestones along the way will also receive prizes to celebrate their progress! Online registration opens September 25. Students can create their own Readathon page in advance, then begin sharing it with family and friends when the event officially starts on September 28. The registration link will be shared next week, students will also bring home a printed flyer with event details and instructions. We hope every Jing Mei family will join the fun and help make this a joyful celebration of reading, learning, and giving back to our school community!

Trunk or Treat

PTSA Saturday, October 31, 2026, 12:00 pm Jing Mei Elementary

Save the date! BMDL PTSA’s Trunk or Treat will take place on Saturday, October 31, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. We’re looking for volunteers to help make this a fun and welcoming event for everyone. You can host a decorated trunk, volunteer during the event, or donate candy or supplies. Please complete the sign-up form if you’re able to help!
